Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy explains what happens after your US Fabric Yard order is delivered. It forms part of our Terms of Service; where the two overlap, the Terms control.

1. Cut-to-order goods are final sale

Fabric is sold by the yard and cut to the length you specify, from bulk rolls, at the time of your order. Cut yardage is a custom, made-to-order product prepared specifically for you and cannot be returned to the mill or restocked. All sales are final once an order has been delivered — we cannot accept returns or exchanges, or issue refunds, on delivered goods, except as set out below.

2. Inspect on receipt — five business days

Please inspect all goods within five (5) business days of delivery and notify us in writing of any defect, transit damage, shortage, or shipment error within that window. Claims made after five business days are waived.

3. Remedy for a verified defect or our error

For goods that are defective, damaged in transit, or shipped in error and reported within the window above, our sole remedy — at our option — is replacement of the affected yardage, or a credit or refund of the affected portion. We may require return of the affected goods before providing a remedy.

4. What is not covered

• Color, texture, or dye-lot variation within normal commercial tolerance (screen colors are approximate; we do not guarantee an exact match to images, a prior order, or a different dye lot);
• Fabric cut to the length you ordered;
• Goods that have been cut further, processed, treated, applied, or installed by you or a third party;
• Ordering the wrong item or the wrong quantity;
• Swatch and sample orders.

5. Order swatches first

Free swatches let you confirm hand, color, and texture before committing to yardage. Ordering swatches first is strongly recommended and is the best way to avoid variation disputes.

6. How to make a claim

Email trade@usfabricyard.com within five business days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. We will respond with next steps.
