Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how US Fabric Yard (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our trade portal (the “Site”). We are a US-based business serving trade professionals.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, business name, email, phone, and business details when you apply for a trade account; the contents of your quotes and orders; and any messages you send us.
- Information collected automatically: basic usage and device data through privacy-friendly product analytics. We use cookieless analytics (PostHog, configured without cookies) and do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A strictly necessary cookie may be used only to keep you signed in.
The Site is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
2. How we use information
We use your information to review trade applications and approve accounts; to process and fulfill quotes and orders; to communicate with you about your account, quotes, orders, and support requests; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations — for example hosting and infrastructure, database, email delivery, payment processing, and shipping carriers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
4. Email communications
Transactional emails about your account, quotes, and orders are part of the service. Any marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe link and our business mailing address, consistent with the US CAN-SPAM Act. You can opt out of marketing email at any time.
5. Data retention
We keep account, quote, and order records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, legal, tax, and accounting purposes. After that, we delete or anonymize the information.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and credential isolation. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy rights
US and California residents
Depending on your state (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, and similar state laws), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may ask how it is used. We do not sell or “share” personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
EU, EEA, and UK visitors
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR / UK GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. Our lawful bases for processing are performance of a contract (operating your account and orders) and our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Site).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at trade@usfabricyard.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.
8. International users
The Site is operated from and hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the US, you understand that your information will be processed in the US.
9. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and this Policy does not apply to them.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
